Did I need a new painting tray? One could argue no

Did I need a new painting tray? One could argue no. But it was just so darling and when I found a palette that fit with it so perfectly?! How could I not.
And now my painting tray setup is pretty and functional, just the way I like it.
(Pro tip: several of my palettes are just pretty plates I’ve found at stores, even secondhand stores. There, now you can join me in collecting way more palettes than you actually need. 😁)

There is so much beauty to be found everywhere-even in the suffering. The moments of pain and loss and fear change us. So can the moments of joy and beauty. Let’s gently lean into letting the brushstrokes of our lives change us for the better. 💛🌿

🌿Beauty inspires me in a way I don’t understand and can’t fully explain. But there is something there that motivates me to keep going.
Through the last decade of chronic pain, nausea, debilitating fatigue, and deep bouts of depression, I’ve needed a lot of beauty to balance out the bad. And so, I’ve developed the skill of finding beauty everywhere. Even in the ugly. Even in the messy. Even in the mundane. And I realized these moments of pain-and beauty-are not singular snapshots, but moments in motion, brushstrokes, of life that eventually come together to create a piece of art. There is beauty in the brushstrokes of your life, and I hope my art can help you feel that. 💛
